You have possibly asked yourself;
"Will I save money if I buy Life Insurance directly from an insurance company?"
The simple answer is "no". If you purchase a life insurance policy directly from XYZ Life Ins. Co., it would be the same price if I had sold it to you.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about insurance agents and their role in the insurance industry. I recently heard a journalist on the radio pumping his new smart money book and he said that people should buy directly from the insurance company to save the consumer from paying the commissions on the product. He couldn't be more wrong.

The reason it is in your best interest to use a skilled, licensed, insurance professional is because we can shop the market. There are hundreds if not thousands of insurance companies in the world. There are many different types of policies.

We deal with a wide variety of insurance companies. We take the time to find out what your objectives are. How long you want/need the coverage, if you want cash value to accumulate, or pure protection as in "term" which is the least expensive. There are policies that mix both of the above.

We know which companies are highly rated and which companies have been in financial trouble. We know when products change (they change all the time). We're the first to know when the rates go up or down, and who is loosening or tightening underwriting restrictions. These are all factors which can affect how much you pay. We understand the policy provisions and ramifications. Insurance contracts are written in "legalize". We will explain all your options to you in plain, simple english.

Unlike other industries, individual insurance products are extremely regulated and the rates that you pay for life insurance are filed within the state they are sold in. You pay the same rate whether or not you have adequate representation. There is no price difference whatsoever if you buy from me or the insurance company direct. (Not all sell directly to the consumer.)
